Bashor Children's Home is seeking energetic, caring, and dedicated Youth Care Workers to support and guide troubled youth (ages 8-18) in a therapeutic setting. In this role, you will supervise and assist youth with their personal growth and safety, while promoting positive behavioral changes. Full-Time
1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
2nd Shift: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Bashor Children’s Home residential programs are staffed with three shifts to give 24-hour coverage. Full-time direct care staff on the first and second shifts work a 4 days-on, 2-day-off rotation, and full-time direct care staff on the third shift work a 5-day-on, 2-day-off rotation. All direct care staff must be able to work some weekends on a rotational basis as scheduled. All full-time direct care staff will have on-call responsibilities.

Training Requirements (for all roles):
8 shadow days (4 first shift, 4 second shift – 8 hrs each)
Online modules (completed on-site during shadowing)
1 week in-person training: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Flexible scheduling begins after training is complete.
Hourly rates begin at $15.45/hour
