Job Description

We have an immediate need for a position of Senior Trading Business Analyst, to work in New York City, NY.

Pay Rate: $72 - $74/hr on W2

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, configuration, and automation of financial reports and reconciliations using tools like PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, IntelliMatch, Proactive, and Duco.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of various financial instruments, including Fixed Income (FI), Equities, Exchange-Traded Derivatives (ETDs), and Over-the-Counter (OTC) derivatives.
• Understand and manage the full lifecycle of financial trades, including clearing and settlement processes for FI, Equities, Derivatives, and FX.
• Handle Swift messages, particularly for payments and cash management, as well as trade confirmations. Work with messaging protocols such as MQ, NDM, and SFTP.
• Perform data analysis, including creating complex SQL queries to extract and analyze data from databases like MySQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle.
• Manage multiple complex projects involving global business and IT teams. Perform gap analysis, create project plans, and develop functional requirement documents (FRD), business requirement documents (BRD), and process flows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across various levels to identify requirements, provide updates, and ensure successful project delivery.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, IntelliMatch, Proactive, Duco, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of FI, Equities, ETDs, OTC derivatives, and FX.
• Expertise in the lifecycle of financial trades, clearing, and settlement processes.
• Experience with Swift messages and related protocols (MQ, NDM, SFTP).
• Advanced skills in SQL, MySQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle for data extraction and analysis.
• Ability to manage complex projects, perform gap analysis, and create project documentation.
• Strong communication skills, capable of working with diverse, global teams.
