This is a Full Time Surgical Tech position working in the Main OR at Northwest Medical Center.
Monday through Friday Days, 40 hours a week + Call
$10,000 for Student Loan Repayments
$15,000 sign on bonus for eligible qualified Scrub Techs!

About the Job:
+ Assists in the care of the surgical patient applying principles of asepsis to perform scrub duties and related activities for surgical procedures
+ Arranging and inventorying sterile set-up for operations and passing items to doctors and nurses as needed
+ Assists in preparing and moving patients and in cleaning the operating theater.
Works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Education:
Required: Completion of accredited Surgical Technician program
OR 2 years of on-the-job training
OR 7 years of experience working in the field
OR Military training program with 2 years surgical tech experience
Experience:
Preferred for Surgical Tech: Previous experience as a Surgical Technician.
Licenses/Certifications:
Required: BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
Preferred: Certified Surgical Technologist ( CST ) or Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C)
