Peraton is seeking a talented Software/Web Developer to join our dynamic Agile team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of the Object Management Service (OMS)—a cutting-edge, secure API designed to revolutionize object production and management. Built on a modern architecture of discrete analytics, storage, and data microservices, OMS ensures seamless integration across multiple missions and applications, supporting critical operations.

What You'll Do

As a Software/Web Developer, you will:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, team members, and executives to gather requirements and effectively communicate project updates.
  • Develop and enhance web-based applications using modern frameworks such as Vue, Angular, or React.
  • Leverage Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana) to manage tasks and deliverables efficiently.
  • Support and enhance the OMS platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and integration across diverse mission sets.
  • Bridge the gap between technical concepts and team communication, ensuring smooth development processes.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience: BA/BS degree and at least 9 years of relevant experience. An additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Core Competencies:
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
    • Solid understanding of software development principles and technical concepts to facilitate teamwork.
    • Hands-on experience with modern web application frameworks like Vue, Angular, and/or React.
    • Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps practices, including CI/CD and automated deployments.
  • Security+ or DoD 8570 baseline certification.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL storage technologies for managing structured and unstructured data.

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
