About the Role

As a Senior Claims Consultant, you will independently oversee and manage claims programs for our esteemed clients. You'll collaborate closely with top-tier carriers and industry contacts, providing expert guidance on coverage and advocating for client interests. This role demands a proven track record in analyzing complex claims, crafting action plans, and resolving coverage disputes effectively.

What You'll Do

Monitor claims for key accounts from initial notice to resolution using an approved diary system for timely follow-up on critical issues.
Review and strategically plan the handling of new claims in partnership with clients and Account Executives.
Proactively identify and address potential coverage issues, offering consultative services to clients.
Facilitate client meetings and claim reviews to ensure swift and favorable claim resolutions.
Demonstrate exceptional knowledge and leadership in managing complex issues, fostering strong relationships with clients, carriers, and stakeholders.
Maintain transparent communication on claim statuses and impending issues to all parties involved.

Experience and Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of claims management experience, ideally within a brokerage setting.
Preferred certifications such as CPCU or ARM, or equivalent professional designations.
College degree or Juris Doctorate preferred.
Advanced knowledge of casualty coverage, claim procedures, and terminology.
Experience in construction and agriculture sectors preferred, with exposure to first-party claims considered advantageous.
Strong communication, analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Fire & Casualty license required within 90 days of hire.

More About Us

Compensation: Expected salary range $100,500 - $167,500, dependent on geography and experience.
Eligibility for an incentive program offering up to 12% of annual salary based on individual and company performance.
