Duties and Responsibilities:
• This is a full-time remote role as a Scrap Metal Trader
• The primary function of this role is to buy scrap metal from yards in Midwest and East Coast region and building strong relationships with suppliers and customers
• The trader will also work closely with team members to ensure the efficient management of purchases, sales, and logistics of materials across the world
• New Account Acquisition & Management on a National Level
• Market Analysis
Experience and Qualifications:
• Proven experience in scrap metal trading, results-oriented
• 5 Years experienced in purchasing & sales of non-ferrous (ferrous) scrap metal
• Ability to thrive as a motivated self-starter in a fast-paced, growing environment
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers and business partners
• Understanding of commodity markets with excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Flexible with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong entrepreneurial skills
• Bachelor's (Preferred)
