Your Role:

The Revenue and AR Lead is responsible for revenue accounting processes and requires understanding of sophisticated accounting matters, quick problem-solving skills and strong collaboration with other finance and non-finance teams.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Prepare manual journals relating to the revenue accounting process, lease revenue accounting, and allowance for doubtful accounts with adequate supporting documentation
• Complete assigned related account reconciliations in Blackline per established deadlines
• Respond to queries from Business and Controllership in a timely manner
• Provide audit support as needed
• Support regional and global reporting requirements such as monthly balance Sheet & P&L Flux analysis
• Support monthly/quarterly/annual close processes
• Build and maintain strong relationships with other finance and non-finance teams, as well as external providers, to maintain and update shared processes, tools, and reporting activities
• Ensure adherence of processes to the company’s policies and procedures, internal and external audit requirements and local rules and regulations; support strengthening of financial processes and controls
• Support automation opportunities around account reconciliation and manual journal entries
• Manage, evaluate and develop team members, as needed
• Organize and manage team members, as needed, to achieve a successful month-end close in terms of quality and timeliness
• Support local, regional, and global projects, as required
• Maintain focus on continuous operational improvement opportunities

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or part qualified ACCA/CIMA/CPA
• Experience in JDE, Blackline, Alteryx and W-Desk is an advantage
• Additional hours at critical times (e.g., month-end) may be required. O n a case by case basis, the role may require work on public holidays
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven experience in a multinational environment and/or audit
• Excellent knowledge of US GAAP
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills, diplomatic, flexible and “can do” mind-set
• Strong reporting tools including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $88,000.00 to $121,000.00 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location.
