Job Description

Job Summary: AbaCares Services is seeking a responsible and compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team in Ephrata, Pennsylvania. This is a one-day-a-week shift! As a PCA, you will provide one-on-one support to individuals who require assistance with daily living activities. Your role will be integral in enhancing the quality of life for our clients and helping them maintain their independence. Compensation & Benefits: This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $15/hr. Schedule: 7 AM to 4 PM on Fridays; additional hours will be available upon request. Responsibilities:

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring.
Help with household tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
Monitor clients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Build positive relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar role in the healthcare industry.
Current CPR and first aid certification.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compassionate and patient demeanor.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
