Job Description
One of our top clients, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Behavioral Health Consultant to provide mental health services to their patients. The LCSW will work collaboratively with the healthcare team and maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
LCSW Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of patients to identify mental health needs.
* Develop treatment plans and provide evidence-based psychotherapy to patients with mental health concerns.
* Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care to patients.
* Provide crisis intervention and support to patients and their families during times of acute stress or trauma.
* Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and comply with HIPAA regulations.
* Conduct outreach and education to patients and their families regarding mental health resources and services.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices for mental health services.
* Attend relevant trainings and maintain current knowledge of mental health treatments, interventions, and resources.
* Provide clinical supervision to social work interns or staff as needed.
LCSW Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
* Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Oregon.
* Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience providing mental health services.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
* Knowledge of evidence-based psychotherapy interventions and crisis intervention techniques.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
