Position Title: Full-Time 9-1-1 Telecommunicator
Salary Information: $51,018-$64,882

Prior Experience:
Experience working with computers using a Windows based operating system
Experience with Microsoft Office program
Previous experience in a public safety environment, preferably in emergency communications desired.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to accurately type 35 wpm using standard keyboarding methods
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a high stress environment
Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information acquired while performing the job
Ability to wear a headset that will cover one ear or fit within the ear canal and simultaneously hear conversation in the headset and from other external sources
Ability to function well as part of a team
Ability to pass all assessments throughout the hiring process
Must have schedule flexibility during the training period which can last up to 6-months.
Must be able to work 12-hour shifts with rotating days off, including shifts that occur overnight.
Must be able to work overtime, including last-minute overtime that may be deemed as mandatory.
