Job Title: Full Stack Engineer (12-Month Hybrid Contract) - Local Candidates only - No Third Party

Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)

Job Description:

Our software product client in New York City is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to join their team on a 12-month hybrid contract basis. This role requires the Engineer to work onsite at the NYC office three days per week. (Python or C++)

Key Responsibilities:

• Work within a complex environment to build, maintain, and support a variety of homegrown, custom-built applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop company-wide systems.
• Engage in full-stack development tasks, from front-end interfaces to back-end services.
• Contribute to the enhancement and optimization of existing software applications.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer, preferably within complex environments.
• 5+ years of experience with Python Full Stack Development
• Proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies. (React, JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Strong understanding of custom application development from the ground up.
• Experience with REST API's & PostgreSQL
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
