Job Position: Truck Driver/Company Driver. (Contract)

• We are a business run by truck drivers and our first priority is helping our drivers as much as possible, and we'd love to add you to the team.
• We wanted to make a business that takes care of the drivers because we have worked for too many companies that have treated their drivers like they're disposable.
• And we wanted to change that.

Job Details:

• We Need 1 Company Driver at this time.
• Home every day, no working weekends.
• Weekly Direct deposit.

Responsibilities:

• Transporting cargo to and from specified locations as instructed by company dispatchers.
• Strategically planning travel routes to ensure that all deliveries are completed in a timely manner.
• Reviewing dispatchers' instructions before deliveries to prevent any errors or miscommunications.
• Performing inspections of the designated truck before and after each delivery to ensure that it is mechanically sound.
• Promptly informing management of any mechanical issues that render the designated truck unroadworthy.
• Maintaining an e-Log with an accurate account of the number of hours worked, rest periods, and mileage covered.
• Submitting cargo documents to customers and obtaining customer signatures to confirm receipt of the correct cargo.
• Notifying dispatch of any damaged cargo.
• Supervising the safe loading and unloading of cargo.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a tractor-trailer driver training program is advantageous.
• 1 Year of Commercial Driving Experience.
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
• A clean driving record.
• Proven truck driving experience.
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations, loading and unloading procedures, as well as weight restrictions.
• The ability to utilize GPS systems, road maps, and routing software.
• The ability to concentrate for extended periods.
• Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills.
