Job Description

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals and specifications to determine layout of low voltage systems
• Install, terminate and test various types of low voltage cabling including but not limited to: fiber optic, CAT6, CAT5e, coaxial and twisted pair
• Install various types of low voltage equipment including but not limited to: telephone systems, security systems, CCTV systems, access control systems and audio/visual systems
• Troubleshoot and repair various types of low voltage systems
• Maintain accurate documentation of all installed systems
• Assist in the training of other technicians on proper installation and troubleshooting techniques
• Comply with all safety regulations and standards
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in the low voltage project
• Willing to travel for the projects.
• Licensing or certification for Low Voltage Technician preferred
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
• Must adhere to OSHA safety standards
