Compensation: $17 per hour – WEEKLY PAY!

• This is a Full-Time position, working Monday through Friday, from 8:30AM – 5:30PM.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Participate effectively, in a timely manner, in The Discovery Center workflow and records management, including digital and some paper filing and printing around the child care process.
• Conduct effective telephone and email communications, as well as calendaring, scheduling and minor website updates
• Maintain confidentiality with regard to children and families, as well as personnel matters, while also effectively communicating as needed with fellow TDC staff members
• Understand, follow, and communicate TDC’s policies and procedures, including those in the Employee Handbook and on the TDC website
• Engage in the ongoing performance evaluation process, including self-assessment using Staff Evaluation Form and meeting with the Director to discuss self-assessment
• Attend relevant staff meetings and training sessions as needed

Here’s What You Need To Apply:

• High school diploma is required, with a strong preference for associates or bachelors degree (or equivalent work experience) reflecting broad skills and high performance
• Excellent computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office, and social media, as well as ability to quickly learn and use moderately complex software, particularly Procare or other software specific to the child care industry
• Warm and friendly personality, sensitivity to the feelings and needs of others, ability to relate well to young children and adults
• Willingness to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with the school’s educational philosophy and strict confidentiality requirements
• Ability to engage warmly and positively with children, families, and fellow staff
